Doing what we can…
Rainmaker Fundraising had a wonderful opportunity this week to provide a little additional support to a young charity. The MINDlink Foundation was established late last year to support research in rare brain disorders. World class work is being done at Massachusetts General Hospital by Dr. Jeremy Schmahmann. We have a personal connection to his work, as a dear friend’s daughter was stricken with one of the neurodegenerative diseases of the cerebellum.
In an effort to help them grow the funding of this young foundation, we have auctioned off a collectible car! This pristine 1986 Pontiac TransAm has barely 27,000 miles showing and is in original condition. The proud new Southern California owners are sure to have a great summer of open-air beach cruising! 100% of the proceeds from this vehicle’s sale will go to support Dr. Schmahmann’s research at MGH. It’s never enough, but we do what we can. Please take a minute to visit MINDlink’s website and consider supporting this worthy cause.
